Overview

Yummi is a food delivery mobile app designed to help users easily discover meals, place orders, and manage their carts. The experience focuses on making food browsing and ordering feel quick, smooth, and enjoyable.

The goal

The goal was to design a seamless ordering experience from the moment a user opens the app to when they are ready to check out.

I wanted users to quickly find what they’re craving, explore options comfortably, and place orders without friction.

Design approach

The approach was to keep each step simple and connected, so users can move through the app without overthinking their actions.

The onboarding introduces the app in a clear and friendly way, the home screen supports easy browsing, the item page highlights important details, and the cart keeps everything organized before checkout. Each screen was designed to guide the user naturally to the next step.

Visual direction

The visual direction is clean, modern, and slightly vibrant to match the food experience.
I used strong hierarchy, clear spacing, and engaging visuals to make meals feel appealing while keeping the interface easy to use.

The design balances aesthetics with usability, ensuring that users can both enjoy browsing and complete actions quickly.

Outcome

The final design creates a smooth and intuitive ordering flow that makes it easy for users to discover meals and place orders with confidence.
Each part of the experience works together to reduce friction and keep users engaged from start to finish.
